Spring is just about here, and The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra’s Chamber Group is giving the season an early welcome with its Signs of Spring performance.
Here are some of planned songs:
• Six Songs for Piano and Soprano by Johannes Brahms (Barbara Choltco, soloist)
• I Waited For The Lord (Hymn Of Praise) by Felix Mendelssohn (Barbara Choltco and April Duvic, soloists)
• Chanson Perpetuelle Op. 37 by Ernest Chausson
• String Quartet Op. 11 in B minor by Samuel Barber
There are two scheduled performances: March 23, 7 p.m., Trinity Lutheran Church, 309 West 39th Street Vancouver and March 25, 3 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 824 NE 4th Ave., Camas.
